I affectionately call myself a "stamp carving professional." Currently residing in Taiwan, I diligently create and produce stamps in a cozy apartment in Taipei. Previously, I worked as an editor for magazines and books at a publishing house, and now I focus full-time on stamp design. Each season, I release handmade, original stamps. My collected works, volumes 1-8, feature over 100 stamp designs. My published books include: "A Handmade Life in 12 Hours a Week," "Rubber Stamps, Open the Door!", and "12 Lessons for Beginner Rubber Stampers: Next Stamp Class." Using erasers as the primary material for carving, each stamp is meticulously etched onto the eraser, stroke by painstaking stroke. My stamp designs often draw inspiration from everyday discoveries, landscapes and encounters during travels, and the things I cherish with all my heart (incorporating elements like text, flora, geometric shapes, nature, architecture, etc.). I then deconstruct and combine these elements, employing multi-layered lines and surfaces, accented by minimalist primary and secondary lines, and foreign text. I also incorporate symbols and parts I've noted down to construct the visual composition of the stamps. I enjoy coordinating stamps with colors, creating unique solo pieces and collaborative designs with varying sizes of stamps, and exploring repetition. Many of my graphic designs are also derived from fragments of stamps, extending into designs (such as postcards and washi tape) through stamping techniques.
