This is a system notebook that opens with a hinge made of leather and thread. Bible size (personal size, paper is 170 x 95 mm 6-hole type). The distinctive leather hinges are the result of a unique manufacturing process that has been developed through extensive research. It is an elaborate process that involves intricate cutting and shaping, followed by grinding down each tooth little by little to adjust the bite. The unique appearance is not the only benefit of hinges. It opens flat so it won't close accidentally due to folding. The folding parts that are folded when opened and closed do not deteriorate significantly. The material is thick tanned leather (2 mm thick), vegetable tanned cowhide, which is said to age best. Over time it will develop a deep amber color. The Bible size is the most popular size, so there is a particularly wide variety of refills available on the market. The ring diameter is 15 mm, so it is easy to use with up to 100 sheets of special paper. The initial paper included is my personal favorite, “Etranger di Costa Rica Memory Fill SBBRF-G-01” 5mm grid, 50 sheets in total. We wanted to make it so that even first-time users can use it immediately after receiving it, and to minimize waste for those who are familiar with it. There are a variety of papers, diaries, indexes, clear pockets, etc. available on the market, so we hope you will mix and match them freely to create your own unique planner. For maintenance, use a small amount of delicate cream. Since it is not subject to the same strong stress as bags or shoes, a small amount of oil from your palm is usually enough. Please be careful not to use too much leather cream or oil. The metal fittings are screw-type so that they can be replaced if damaged. We hope you enjoy using it while it changes over time.
