Dedicated Chocolate X Lai Chi Wo Village Coffee
The Permaculture Experimental Farm in Lai Chi Wo was established in 2015 with the goal of promoting local sustainable farming and land revitalization. Coffee trees are one of the agricultural products that have been planted since 2015. At present, more than 500 coffee trees have been planted in Lai Chi Wo. In addition to planting, a post-processing laboratory has also been set up. The planting, post-processing, and roasting of beans are all handled locally by farmers and professionals to produce coffee products that are truly grown and manufactured in Hong Kong.
In our chocolate studio, we combine single origin cacao beans from Ucayali, Peru with medium to dark roast coffee beans from Lychee Hole to create this coffee dark chocolate. The beans themselves have a hazelnut flavor and a medium acidity. The chocolate made by combining with our cocoa beans has a moderate coffee taste, with a berry-like light sourness, a little bit of spice and a little sugary sweetness. A must for chocolate and coffee lovers, while supporting locally grown and locally made!
