The custom nib's soft and elastic nature can lead to ink skipping if excessive pressure is applied without proper technique. If the user's technique is insufficient or they are unfamiliar with the custom nib's characteristics, it can cause a temporary separation between the nib and the feed, hindering ink flow and leading to skipping. If the user's grip angle is off and pressure is applied, it can distort the ink channel, disrupting ink flow. Therefore, this nib is relatively soft and elastic, requiring careful handling.
