KMZ plant, 1985
RUSSIAN ZENIT-19 CAMERA's BODY with M42 LENS MOUNT
ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!)
Zenit-19 camera issued in 1979-1987 in little amounts at Krasnogorsk, at KMZ plant in USSR.
It was very good camera, based at ideas of old Pentax and Nikon cameras: with metal shutter, with 90% viewfinder, very good range of shutter speeds, fast synchronization at 1/60 and even 1/125 sec/ (since 1983).
It was issued 121,993 cameras.
ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT-, WELL-USABLE
It is clean and attractive, it just looks that the camera was enough accurately used before, examine item's photos please.
The shutter works fine, I powered the camera with 625 type batteries to test it.
Self-timer works properly.
TTL light metering pin moves, but as usually I can't be sure that it is accurate.
Battery compartment is clean, contacts are without oxides at working surfaces.
Viewfinder is enough clean, with minor vertical line visible inside.
All functions are available, may be except light metering.
