[Title] The world I dreamed of back then, is still with me forever. This is a mixed media art frame combining watercolor painting and floral art, created to commemorate ohanabako's first solo exhibition. With a background featuring a hand-painted watercolor morning sky and a flower field, this is a one-of-a-kind piece. [Comments] This is the first piece where I painted the sky and added flowers after the decision to hold the solo exhibition "Sky and Flowers." Since the exhibition was decided, this is the commemorative first piece where I conceptualized a mixed media design for the first time, gathered watercolor tools, and meticulously selected flower materials in specific colors and shapes, challenging myself with materials I had never used before. I expressed the self I was in childhood—playing in a park full of flowers, expanding my dreams—and the world that enveloped me, using my favorite colors and a variety of flowers. "What did I love back then? What dreams did I hold? Have I become the adult I imagined back then?" "If I am different from the adult I imagined, is there still something I can do from now on?" I created this piece with the hope that it would become a trigger for you to ask yourself such questions. You can look up at the sky and think about yourself like that, or you can think about nothing at all. In this strange era where connections seem to have increased thanks to SNS, yet decreased due to the coronavirus, I think it is a richness to look up at the sky and simply immerse yourself in your own world.
