<The only beauty in the world that brings you happiness>
People who once lived in Watari, Miyagi Prefecture, used to give gifts in a “bag” made of the remaining cloth of old kimono. For example, it was a bowl of rice used as a celebration or as a gift. There was no fixed name, and it was called "Fugu" because "Fukuro" was nicknamed.
"FUGURO" is a remake of the old-fashioned custom. The material is a kimono fabric with an auspicious pattern selected from the thousands of pieces that sleep in the chest of drawers. While carefully stitching in the feeling of wishing the happiness of the person holding it, each one is finished by careful handwork.
Incorporate precious things into the product, including a unique culture of return and a sense of gratitude. We bring you happiness and bring you only one beauty in the world.
Two colors of thread are used to match the colors of the outer material and the lining. Enjoy beautiful stitches that are pleasant to everyone's eyes.
