Embroidered patches are often called cloth patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered emblems. However, most cloth patches require ironing to adhere them, typically onto fabric items or to mend holes. Our embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing, making them suitable for smooth, non-fabric surfaces. They're perfect as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Let's create something unique together! 🏷 How do I use embroidered patches? Using our embroidered patches is simple! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they stay put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery threads. Iron for 20-25 seconds, then let it cool completely to set. For extra durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, you can also sew them onto fabric using a sewing machine or by hand. 🏷 What if I can't iron or am unsure about ironing the fabric? For materials that cannot be ironed (like down jackets, nylon, leather, or waterproof fabrics) or if you're unsure about ironing, we recommend sewing them on with a sewing machine or by hand to avoid damaging your items with heat. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will they fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have a strong adhesive that adheres well to most smooth, non-fabric surfaces and is not prone to falling off. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), ironing and sewing for reinforcement will enhance durability. 🏷 Will embroidered patches fall off after washing? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, our embroidered patches can be machine washed without easily falling off. We recommend washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. We suggest deciding on the placement before sticking. If you remove a patch and wish to reuse it, the fabric patch itself can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration. 🏷 Will there be residue after removing an applied embroidered patch? Due to the strong adhesive, some residue may remain after removal. This can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Please check the surface material of your item to ensure compatibility with cleaning agents and avoid damage. Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue; the adhesive can melt with heat, making it stickier and harder to remove.
