【Ben Shan Green】
Green clay originates from the Huanglong Mountain ore veins in Dingshu, Yixing. It is a superior quality clay within the broader category of Duan Ni.
Compared to Duan Ni in its singular form, this raw ore contains no Zi Ni components and has a lower iron oxide content.
After firing, it exhibits very few black particles, resulting in a finished ceramic that displays varying shades of yellow.
Within the ore strata, green clay appears only occasionally and in very limited quantities.
Raw Ore Appearance:
The ore presents as dense, light grayish-green lumps, slightly hard.
Fired Color: After firing, it becomes a creamy yellow. The clay body is densely populated with black granular specks, giving the surface a lustrous sheen and a remarkably rich color effect.

【Frequently Asked Questions QA】
1. How to season the pot before use?
Clean the inside and outside thoroughly. A loofah sponge is recommended; avoid chemical agents. Simply rinse with water, and it's ready for use.
2. How to cultivate the pot?
After use, keep it clean and dry to prevent tea stains. Store it in a well-ventilated area. For long-term storage in its box, allow it to air dry naturally for 1-2 months to ensure the porous clay fully releases moisture, preventing mold.
3. How to clean tea stains or mold?
Soak with an enzymatic cleaner.
4. Proper warming of the pot?
In cold weather, or after a long period of disuse, warm water at approximately 40°C (104°F) should be poured over the inside and outside of the pot. Then, fill the pot with water and allow the Zisha pores to fully absorb moisture.
5. How to care for pieces with engravings?
For pots with engraved designs, using a soft brush for cleaning is recommended.
6. What if the item is damaged during shipping?
Yan Huang Da Di Art assumes full responsibility for shipping safety. If damage occurs, please contact customer service immediately.
