By encouraging the habit of regular maintenance, they aim to reduce unnecessary waste and resource consumption. [Instructions for Use] Upon Unpacking: The cutting board has been soaked in food-grade mineral oil during production and coated with a protective layer of sealing wax. After unboxing, simply wipe off any excess beeswax from the surface with a clean cloth before use. Daily Cleaning: Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth or sponge. For sticky residues, gently wash under warm water with a sponge and a mild detergent. Avoid using harsh cleaners such as bleach. Deep Cleaning: For a more thorough cleaning, sprinkle some salt onto the cutting board and scrub with a sponge dipped in lemon juice, or scrub directly with a halved lemon. Storage: After washing, dry the cutting board and let it air dry completely. Ensure the cutting board is entirely dry before storing it in a cabinet or storage space. Avoid places exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures near heat sources. ⚠️ [Contraindications / Covenants] Do not place freshly baked hot pots or hot frying pans directly onto the cutting board. Do not place in high-temperature areas or direct sunlight; avoid washing with hot water. Do not rinse or soak in water for extended periods. Do not put in the dishwasher. [Maintenance Method] Ensure the cutting board is clean and completely air-dried before maintenance. Use a clean soft cloth dipped in beeswax to apply a thin film over all surfaces of the cutting board. For the first month of use, apply beeswax weekly; thereafter, depending on your usage frequency, apply beeswax at least once a month. After each application of beeswax, allow it to be absorbed for a few hours, then use a clean cloth to wipe and buff the surface dry and shiny.
