Unlike seemingly flawless PU or patent leather, vegetable-tanned leather is natural and eco-friendly. It retains unique textures and markings from the cow's growth process, such as scars, insect marks, growth lines, blood vessels, etc. These are not defects. Leather may also have minor indentations or scratches from processing, shipping, and production. Unless there is damage to the leather surface, these are considered normal. Out of respect for life and natural materials, we do not (and cannot) completely avoid large scars, so please consider this carefully if you are concerned.
