Glass Dip Pen
Each pen is crafted uniquely, with subtle textures from the hand-firing process.
(For example, the body and nib may not be perfectly straight, the surface may not be entirely smooth, some textured areas might feel raised or uneven to the touch, and the ink grooves might not be perfectly equidistant.)
A new pen is made only after one is sold. If you require more than two, please message us first to view sample photos before placing an order.
The pen you receive will be the one shown in the photos.
Every glass pen possesses its own warmth and character, with distinct hand-feel, writing experience, texture, and length.
How to Use:
Dip the nib into ink, about 1/3 to more than half of the nib. (Avoid hitting the bottom of the ink bottle.)
Each pen offers a different feel and line width depending on the angle of writing.
Some angles may not be suitable for writing, while others allow for smooth calligraphy. Experiment to find the angle that best suits your writing style.
After writing, rinse the nib with clean water. If any residual ink remains in the grooves after rinsing, a soft-bristled toothbrush can be used for gentle cleaning. Allow it to air dry before storing. Do not drop.
★ Some initial scratching on the paper is normal when first using the pen.
★ Do not pull the protective cap straight off horizontally. This can damage the nib.
Gently twist the cap in opposite directions to remove it.
★ Each pen features unique, naturally occurring air bubbles or bubble patterns.
★ Practice writing with calligraphy guides for hard-tipped pens.
★ Includes a small ink bottle (5ml) + a storage box.
(★ As ink (a liquid) cannot pass through customs, ink is not included for international shipments.)
★ Repairs for damage will incur a fee based on the extent of the damage. (Completely shattered pens cannot be repaired.)
★ Please do not make assumptions based on imagination when purchasing. Thank you.
★ For other important notes, please read the "Designer's Story" on the right.
★ The creation period for the artwork is 14 working days. International shipping may extend beyond this period. Please do not order if you are in a hurry.
