Ghost Pipe (Paper Knife)

Monotropa uniflora, also known as ghost pipe, is a herbaceous perennial plant.It has no chlorophyll and pigments, and therefore shows a white, translucent color.A luck hiker sometimes can find ghost pipes in the dark environment of a forest after rainfall. As for the design of this paper knife, I extend the curved line of gjost pipes to form an knife with proper shape.The blade is not edged but the tip is sharp enough to puncture a piece of paper. --About brass version Only use brass for a paperknife. --About silver & brass version Use silver and brass to create two color in a paper knife .A ghost pipe will quickly turns black after it die, and silver show similer color change after it be oxidized. Therefore, I use 925 silver to made the flower handle to show this interesting characteristic. I add alloy with 45% silver on grooves of a brass blade to create the gradient color between silver and brass. Silver & brass version is the idea version of the ghost pipe paper knife.
