Okinawa glass is a handmade glass product that has been in Japan since the 19th century. The glass bead technique is also known as the "torch drawing" technique. It is to burn colored glass rods in a flame as high as 1000 degrees until they are molten, and then wrap the molten glass around the iron rod to create a shape. When the shaped glass cools down, the iron rod is pulled out to form a penetrating hole, through which a rope or metal part can be passed to serve as a pendant.
Japanese "Hotar Stone", also known as Okinawa Stone
Stone is a type of glass bead, made by a special technique that combines silver foil and glass. It is named because the luster of the silver foil shines like a firefly. The sparkling deep blue is like shrinking the beautiful sea of Okinawa into a glass bead, sparkling in everyone's eyes.
