Accolade Cherry (アーコレード) | Rare Medium-Grade Cherry Bonsai - Soon to Bloom - Plants - Pottery

Product Description

Accolade Cherry (Prunus 'Accolade') Developed in 1952 by Knap Hill Nursery in the UK, a cross between P. subhirtella and P. serrulata. Beautiful, elegant double-petaled cherry blossoms with large flowers. Umbel-shaped inflorescences with 12-15 petals. Borne in clusters of three, with vibrant deep pink buds. The Accolade Cherry has repeatedly won awards in international horticultural competitions. This rare, award-winning variety is now available for the first time. Grafted and grown in Taiwan for 2 years, it bloomed once in October and once in November 2025. This is its third blooming. Exceptional flowering habit, blooming from autumn to spring, impressing designers. Branches have been shaped with aluminum wire to encourage branching. The tree's structure creates a canopy, leading to even more abundant blooms, making it a worthwhile specimen to cultivate. /In Stock/ Photos 1-6, taken on 2026/1/4. This is the only specimen available. No need to wait, it is about to bloom, with flower buds still present (Photo 5). The aluminum wire can be removed after 3 months. (Pricing varies based on rarity, age, and pot.) /Recommended Sequence for Beginner Cherry and Plum Bonsai Enthusiasts/ White Plum → Single-petaled Early Cherry → Pink Plum → Double-petaled Cherry → Red Plum → Chrysanthemum-petaled Late Cherry There are enthusiasts in Pingtung; cherry and plum bonsai can also be grown in the south. At the entrance of Tainan's Chihkan Tower, there are old plum trees on either side, their white blossoms visible over the wall each year. Photo 8, excerpted from the blog "Warm City Laughter Response" (溫市笑應部落格). Photo 9, excerpted from the Japanese "Cherry Blossom Society" (花の会) pictorial guide. ★Includes a trial pack of nutrient solution, a cherry blossom care card, and fertilization instructions with your order.★ (Product does not include the wooden display board or decorative elements.) /Recommended by Designers/ Use Rong Bao Brand Liquid Nutrient Solution set or other commercially available nutrient solutions. The nutrients required for Japanese flowering and fruit plants are higher than for native Taiwanese plants. Cherries, in particular, require 4-5 times the nutrients of ordinary plants. For abundant blooms with high ornamental value and a fruit-bearing period of 2-6 months, weekly application is recommended.
