"Lighting" is one of the professional glass-burning techniques in glass craftsmanship. It uses a special fire gun to heat and soften glass materials of different colors, and then uses tools to shape them. Everyday objects decorated with glass sculptures can be said to be both cute and practical!
Participants are free to choose their favorite colors in the class and be creative!
Whether it is a diffuser Stone that can achieve a fragrance effect without heating and dripping a few drops of essential oil, or a night light with soft light, with a delicate glass shape, it is a good gift for personal use!
Teaching content:
- Introduction to glass materials, basic tools and related knowledge
- Firearm operation and safety instructions
- Glass firing, forming, cooling and subsequent processes
Finished product: 1-4 pieces of glass work and 1 finished product (finished product selection: night light (about 9cm high) / diffuser Stone/ potted note clip * The color of the potted note clip may be changed according to the stock)

Workshop Description

- This course involves firearm operation and participants must be at least 16 years old
- During the production of lamp glass, if the temperature is not well controlled, it may lead to cracking of the finished product.
- Improper operation of the musket may be dangerous. Participants must pay attention to the instructor's explanation and always pay attention to the safety of themselves and others.
- The venue opens 15 minutes before the start of the class. There will be no extra time for latecomers and there may be opportunities to reduce the number of finished products due to insufficient production time. Please attend on time.
- The production demonstration will be held at the beginning of the course. Students who have not watched the production demonstration in full may have the opportunity to affect their production progress. Please attend on time.
Instructions for course date changes:
*If it is necessary to change the confirmed appointment (including date, time or course), the participant must notify the store at least 7 days before the class date, and must get a reply from the store. Students who are less than 7 days notice period must pay the tuition fee 50% of the change fee, otherwise no rescheduling.
*The rescheduling can only be arranged once, if the participant still fails to attend, it will be regarded as giving up.
*The date change must be completed within three months from the class date, otherwise it will be regarded as a waiver.
*All paid fees are non-refundable.
Class arrangement under typhoon and rainstorm:
– If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted 2 hours before the class, the class will be cancelled, and registered participants can arrange make-up classes later.
– If the black rainstorm warning is in effect 2 hours before the class, the class will be cancelled, and the registered participants can arrange a make-up class later.
– Forecast of typhoon signal No. 8 or above issued by the Observatory. If the predicted time of hoisting typhoon signal No. 8 or above is within 2 hours before the class or during the class time, the class will be cancelled, and registered participants can Make-up classes will be arranged later.
– If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is lowered by the Observatory 2 hours before the class starts, the class will continue as scheduled.
