Custom Color Shinsho Size Notebook Cover

This is a notebook cover designed for the Midori MD Notebook, in the Shinsho (Japanese paperback) size. The sample image features a cover made from "Pueblo" leather in the Cognac color, by Badalaschi Carlo. The MD Notebook is known for its excellent writing paper and its simple, elegant cover. Enhancing it with a dedicated leather cover is a wonderful choice. While the standard Japanese paperback size is H173mm x W105mm, this cover is specifically made for the MD Notebook Shinsho size (H175 x W105 x D10mm). The deep flap on the inner cover is designed to minimize any unevenness when writing. "Pueblo" leather has a distinctive scratch-like texture when new, yet feels smooth to the touch. It's a leather with a rich character that is captivating from the start, and develops a truly remarkable patina with use. "Pueblo" is a vegetable-tanned leather, 100% tanned using plant-based methods. It preserves the natural character of the leather. Due to the transparent dye coloring, you may find marks such as "tora" (tiger stripes) or "blood vessels," which are natural signs of the cow's life. Please understand that these are inherent to the leather's texture and quality. As it is dyed, the color may subtly vary with each production batch, potentially differing slightly from the color samples. The notebook and pen shown in the image are not included. As "Pueblo" is a natural leather, variations in color, tiger stripes, and minor scratches may be present. These are characteristic features of leather tanned with vegetable tannins. Please be aware that the color may transfer if the leather becomes wet or is rubbed strongly. Colors may appear differently on screen compared to the actual product.
