If "Rose Tea" is a warm ray of afternoon sun, then "Sea Mist Shards" is a tranquil deep breath in the dead of night. The creation of this tape stemmed from a desire for "contrast." To prevent the warm Rose Tea design from feeling isolated, I approached the creation with an entirely opposite logic: transforming soft color blocks into sharp, crisp geometric shapes, and removing warm tones in favor of deep blue-gray hues. This is another attempt on my journey to learn "effortless calm"—letting go of daily trifles and pursuing a cool serenity akin to the deep sea or the universe. This is a piece designed to slow down your heartbeat. I hope it can become that cool, radiant light during your moments of rational creativity.
