Bracelet with Multifaceted Blue Roman Glass, Antique Bohemian Beads, Indian Silver, Aquamarine, and Herkimer Diamonds

A bracelet crafted by connecting multifaceted blue Roman glass, antique Bohemian beads, Indian silver, aquamarine, Herkimer diamonds, and more. The elongated beads are Roman glass, dating back to the Roman Empire (27 BCE – 395 CE). The tubular pieces were formed from ancient bangles, giving them a gentle curve. As they are ancient artifacts, minor chips may be present, but they do not impede normal wear. We've combined pieces with a spectrum of blue and grayish-blue hues. Some of the irregular-shaped pieces are silver-toned Roman glass. The clear, oval beads are early 20th-century Bohemian glass beads. They bear marks of their age, which only enhance their captivating charm! (Bohemian bead dimensions: 0.8 cm wide, 0.7 cm high) The curved, square beads are silver components from India. They are hollow, making them lightweight. A floral pattern is etched on both sides. (The silver content is likely not very high.) The blue, bun-shaped beads are antique beads known as Indo-Pacific beads. The origins of Indo-Pacific beads are said to date back to the 2nd century BCE. These particular beads are excavated artifacts from Indonesia, believed to be from around the 10th century – over 1000 years old! We've paired these with faceted aquamarine and double-terminated Herkimer diamonds. The small, gold-colored nugget beads are Karen silver with 18k gold plating. The clasp is an S-hook, allowing for versatile wear.
