●● The Appreciation of Jade Involves "Mutual Nurturing"
A widely accepted saying about jade appreciation is "One nurtures jade for three years, and jade nurtures one for a lifetime." Jade contains rich trace elements. These elements are activated by the warmth generated from handling the jade. However, there's a simpler method often referred to as "mutual nurturing" through close wear and care. Wearing and maintaining jade while it's close to your body is the most effortless approach! The body's natural sweat and oils effectively moisturize the jade, making it more lustrous and radiant. In turn, the warmth from your body activates the jade's trace elements, which are absorbed through the skin, enhancing blood circulation and boosting metabolism, thus contributing to health and wellness!
●● Timely Maintenance for Unworn Jade
If you cannot wear jade close to your body or for other specific reasons, timely maintenance is essential. You can periodically oil the jade. Apply baby oil, olive oil, or vegetable oil to a toothbrush and gently brush it evenly over the jade. Seal it in a bag for storage.
[What is Hetian Jade?]
Hetian Jade, one of China's "Four Great Jades." In its traditional, narrow definition, it specifically refers to jade originating from the Hetian region of Xinjiang, famously represented by Hetian "pebble stones." In a broader sense, Hetian Jade refers to nephrite (true jade).
When Qin Shi Huang unified China, Hetian Jade, being produced in the Kunlun Mountains, was known as "Kunshan Jade." Later, due to its location within the "Yutian Kingdom," it was called "Yutian Jade." It was not until 1883, during the Guangxu Emperor's reign, when the Hetian Directly Governed Prefecture was established, that it was officially named "Hetian Jade."
Although Hetian Jade is named after Hetian in Xinjiang, it is not inherently a geographical concept, nor does it exclusively refer to jade produced in the Hetian region. Instead, it is a product category name. China classifies stones with a tremolite content of over 98% as Hetian Jade, all falling within national standards. Therefore, regardless of whether it originates from Xinjiang, Qinghai, Liaoning, Russia, Canada, or South Korea, as long as its primary component is tremolite, it can be called Hetian Jade.
Hetian Jade comes in a rich spectrum of colors, including white, blue-green, gray, light to dark green, yellow to brown, and black.
Hetian Jade is a metamorphic rock formed by the contact metasomatism between magnesian marble and intermediate-acidic magmatic rocks. It is an aggregate of minerals such as tremolite, hornblende, and actinolite. Its chemical composition is hydrated calcium magnesium silicate, with the chemical formula Ca2(Mg,Fe)5[Si8O22](OH)2. Its density ranges from 2.95-3.17, and its Mohs hardness is between 6.0-6.5.
The primary structure of Hetian Jade is metamorphic, including felt-like cryptocrystalline metamorphic structure, microfibrous-cryptocrystalline metamorphic structure, microfibrous-nephritic metamorphic structure, micro-platy-cryptocrystalline metamorphic structure, micro-platy metamorphic structure, and micro-radial (brush-like) metamorphic structure. Less common structures include residual fibrous structure and metasomatic coronitic structure.
Although the mineral grains in Hetian Jade exhibit a degree of orientation, it is not strong. Occasionally, grains display undulatory extinction and plastic deformation. These indicate that the stress intensity of the metamorphism was within the elastic limit of the minerals.
The main textures of Hetian Jade include massive texture and lamellar texture, with massive texture being more common.

[Brand Philosophy]
Jade, having traversed millennia through dust and changing civilizations. We, with our own hands and wisdom, polish it, adorn it, imbue it with soul and thought, and bestow upon it individuality and style.
Every piece of jade should have its story. What tale does it carry from its past? What are its aspirations for the future? This, I believe, is the vitality of jade. Regardless of the elements or themes, I hope to remain grounded in the present, record this era, and tell its story through my own artistic language, aiming to resonate with more people.
