Utensils painted with natural raw lacquer are called lacquerware. Lacquer is the sap from the perennial deciduous tree lacquer tree. It is a highly viscous colloid with functions such as adhesion, hardening and waterproofing. The ancestors used the physical and chemical properties of lacquer to protect and decorate the daily life utensils.
