It's lighter than 100% wool, with a slightly fluffy texture and a warm feel. This is a hand-knitted item by artisans from the Newar ethnic group, a mountain-dwelling people of Nepal. Hand-knitted items, slowly knitted while incorporating plenty of air, are characterized by the unique, textured surface created by handwork.
