Royal Doulton English Bone China Lady Doll

Doulton is a manufacturer of ceramics and home accessories founded in 1815 by John Doulton, whose goods were marked Royal Doulton after receiving the Royal Warrant in 1901. Initially focusing on the production of utilitarian utensils, in the 1890s Doulton made a significant contribution to the architectural fittings, tiles and decoration of London's landmark buildings, such as Harrods, Knightsbridge, Savoy and Selfridges. Today, Royal Doulton produces bone china tableware, cookware, glassware and other home accessories. This is a porcelain figurine of a lady produced by Royal Doulton in 1994. The "Happy Birthday" theme painted by artist Nada M Pedley shows an elegant woman wearing a green dress and holding a bouquet of flowers. It was only released for a few short years until 1999.
