❍ About This Piece From the sink to the desk, we wanted to create a soap dish that is both practical and beautiful. Through use, we slowly explored, adjusted bit by bit, and opted for a simple shape with a little ingenuity. It perfectly holds a bar of soap and allows water to drain out just right. Not flashy, but truly functional. We chose earthenware, a clay with slightly coarse particles. The finished pieces aren't as delicate as porcelain, but they possess a natural simplicity and honesty that you can feel and see. The surface may have some specks of color, pinholes, or small glaze cracks. These are not flaws, but natural marks formed during the firing process. ❍ Material Earthenware, Glaze ❍ Dimensions The soap dish is specially designed for handmade soap bars, approximately 8 × 6 × 2.5 cm. The size is just right, allowing your soap to rest securely and be used with ease. (Each piece is handmade, so dimensions may vary slightly.) ❍ Craftsmanship Each piece is fired at high temperatures twice, ensuring durability. Occasional pinholes, natural glaze variations, or fine crackles on the surface are characteristics naturally formed by the earthenware material and the firing process. As each piece is handmade, the curves and glaze distribution will vary slightly, giving each item its unique personality. ❍ Packaging & Sustainability All our shipments are packaged using recycled bubble wrap and cardboard boxes. It may not be exquisite, but for us, allowing every resource to be reused is the better choice. | About Handmade | Each piece is shaped and glazed by hand. The glaze flows naturally with unique lines. Micro-cracks formed during firing do not affect usability, so please use with peace of mind.
