Inlaid items - known as damasquinado or damasquino in Spanish - are the art of decorating steel with threads of gold and silver.
Damascening is an art of inlaying different metals into one another.
(Typically, gold or silver is inlaid into a dark, oxidized steel background)
to produce intricate patterns reminiscent of niello. The English term derives from a perceived similarity to the rich, brocade patterns of damask silk.
The technique is still practiced in cities with a long history of damascening, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Toledo (Spain), Eibar (Basque Country), and Kyoto (Japan).
**This batch is older and therefore may show more signs of wear.**
Vintage jewelry inevitably carries the patina of age, but this does not affect its function or aesthetic appeal when worn. Please consider this carefully if you are concerned.

**Please Note Before Purchasing:**
💚 If you have any questions, please send us a message before buying.
💚 For jewelry from the 1940s~1980s, it's almost inevitable that the metal will have some degree of fading, discoloration, or rust spots. Please understand this possibility.
💚 We do our best to present the items clearly in the photos. We ask that you inspect the images and descriptions meticulously.
💚 As vintage items have traversed time, they will naturally bear the marks of their journey and use.
💚 The jewelry in this shop will not be altered in style (e.g., clip-on earrings will not be converted to post earrings).
💚 For those new to "Vintage Jewelry," we urge you to consider carefully before purchasing.
💚 If an item arrives damaged to the point of being unwearable, a refund can be requested. However, refunds will not be issued for reasons such as the item differing from your imagination, size discrepancies, color variations, or damage not incurred during shipping.

- Listing Summary
- Please note that items in this shop are not brand new. We primarily feature vintage jewelry from the 1940s to the 1980s, sourced mainly from the US, UK, and France. Given their age, it's nearly impossible for these pieces to be entirely free from fading or discoloration over the centuries. We strive to represent each item accurately through photographs and kindly ask that you review the condition or inquire before purchasing, rather than relying on imagination.
