Embroidered patches are often called cloth patches, iron-on patches, or embroidery appliques in the market. However, most cloth patches require ironing to adhere and are typically used to decorate fabric items or repair torn clothing. Hi, our embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing. They can be applied to smooth, non-fabric surfaces, making them perfect as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Let's create something unique with our patches! 🏷 How do I use embroidered patches? Using Hi embroidered patches is very simple~ ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they won't easily come off! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a pressing cloth over the patch to prevent high heat from damaging the embroidery thread. Iron for 20-25 seconds, then let it cool completely for a secure bond. For added durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing with a machine or by hand will also create a strong attachment to fabric! 🏷 What if I can't iron, or am unsure if I can iron the fabric? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabric) or if you're uncertain about ironing, we recommend sewing the patch on with a sewing machine or by hand to secure it. This prevents high heat from damaging your fabric! 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it fall off easily? Hi embroidered patches have sufficient adhesive strength and are unlikely to fall off when applied to general smooth, non-fabric surfaces. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), please iron to secure and then sew for added durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches fall off after washing? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, embroidered patches can be machine washed without easily falling off. We recommend washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive backing on embroidered patches is designed for single use and cannot be reapplied. We suggest confirming the placement before sticking. If you peel it off and wish to reuse it, the embroidered patch can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration! 🏷 Will there be adhesive residue after applying and removing an embroidered patch? Due to their strong adhesion, some residue may remain after removal. This can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Before using any cleaner, please check if your item's surface material is compatible with the cleaner to avoid damage! Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as the adhesive on embroidered patches will melt with heat, making it stickier and harder to remove!
