Handwoven Silk Stole 【Haruzuki*05】
Materials: 80% Silk, 20% Wool
Size: Approx. 43cm x 180cm (excluding 8cm fringe)
This medium-sized stole is meticulously handwoven using fine raw silk sourced from a reputable silk yarn wholesaler in Nishijin, Kyoto. The silk yarn is then dyed into various colors before being woven. Its sheer, delicate texture drapes and conforms to your body with remarkable lightness.
A blend of three silk threads and wool loop yarn creates a subtle check pattern, where the warp and weft threads intertwine to form a rich, layered hue. The fine silk enhances the presence of the thicker wool, resulting in a wonderfully soft and airy feel.
With a warp count of 678 threads, this stole boasts a fine, intricate density. The single-ply silk threads are semi-boiled, lending them a smooth, crisp texture reminiscent of organza. Silk's exceptional moisture-wicking, breathability, and thermal properties make it suitable for year-round wear, regardless of the season.
