The author of this book, Huang Yu-Hsuan, is a native of Taiwan. He has long collaborated with major children's book publishers in countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, accumulating over thirty works to date. Recognizing the low proportion of local picture books in the Taiwanese market, he dedicated a year to meticulous planning and launched the first original Tang poetry picture book series in 2017. Leveraging his experience working with European and American publishing teams, their creative methods, market insights, and his own background steeped in Chinese culture, he brought these internationally-acclaimed creative perspectives back to Taiwan, striving to create the highest quality original Chinese educational publications for readers of all ages.

When I received the new "Travel Series" from "Happy Poetry with Dog Manager," it was just before I was taking my child back to Paris. "Dog Manager Takes a Plane" became the perfect example to explain air travel to my 16-month-old. Such a young child cannot yet read or grasp the story's narrative, but the book's best feature is its engaging interactive elements that attract babies. My daughter could reinforce her impression of the story through repeated pushing, pulling, and turning actions. She runs to get the book every morning and is busy playing with the mechanisms. Looking closely at the content, the same book has Chinese-English comparisons and Pinyin! Through the adorable illustrations of the Dog Manager and friends, children can experience the mood of Tang poetry in a simple and understandable way from a young age. When the child is older and can understand the Tang poems, they will instantly connect and comprehend them. It's truly a children's book that offers enjoyment from infancy to older childhood! This series has become the best introductory material for my child to learn about Chinese culture and language as an overseas mother. Especially recommended for parents who prioritize language education!
