Xiaoyi is a young Maria with moderate mental retardation. She usually takes care of the plants in the New Yuan group of Maria Technical Secondary School. Xiaoyi had a difficult delivery when she was born. Doctors used midwifery forceps, which caused damage to the cerebral cortex, resulting in delayed intellectual development and epilepsy. Opening the teacher's notebook, it was filled with records of Xiaoyi's joys and worries. Xiaoyi's paintings began to show "Xiaoyi's style" and won recognition in many competitions. Moreover, her mood has become more stable. Xiaoyi, who used to be angry at every turn, now smiles all the time! "Everyone needs to be understood."
