As the renowned Hong Kong lyricist Lin Xi once said, "The existence of ghost stories is what makes Hong Kong precious." Local ghost legends often reflect the social conditions, prevailing moods, and unique historical contexts of their time, making them worthy of recording and preservation. Our aim is to compile a century of Hong Kong's folk ghost tales, inviting you to explore our rich history, culture, and identity. "Ghost Tales" uses "shokugan" (snack toy) stickers as a medium to interpret Hong Kong's ghost lore. These types of stickers first appeared in Japanese snack packaging in 1977, typically measuring 4.8 x 4.8cm, and were commonly known as "chocolate biscuit stickers," "shokugan stickers," or "biscuit stickers." Influenced by Japanese pop culture in the 80s and 90s, these "shokugan stickers" are a collective childhood memory for many in Hong Kong. We have systematically compiled 100 ghost stories, integrating them with shokugan stickers to create a new medium, a visually rich compendium of Hong Kong's supernatural beings. This project features 100 shokugan stickers, each themed around a Hong Kong ghost story. We've created a unique supernatural character and a brief description for every tale. The stickers are enhanced with special printing effects such as laser sparkles, hot stamping (gold and silver), further elevating the collector's value of "A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Ghosts." The "A Hundred Tales of Hong Kong Ghosts" sticker series compiles stories of a hundred local spirits, with original illustrations and text vividly bringing mysterious events to life. Volume 7 includes "The Girl with the Braid," "Oxtail Soup in the Dorm," "The Lotus Pond Ghost," and "The Door."
