When wearing and storing, avoid collision or friction with hard objects. Keep away from acidic or other chemical substances, such as cosmetics and perfumes. Wear the jewelry after completing your makeup routine.  Gently wipe after wearing; do not rinse with water. After wearing, gently wipe clean with a pearl polishing cloth before storing. If sweat or cosmetics get onto the pearl, gently wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water. Do not use tap water, facial tissues, or detergents to clean pearls. It is recommended to wipe clean after each wear, allow to air dry, and then store.  Store flat and separately, away from direct sunlight. Pearls require the nourishment of fresh air; regular wear is advised. When not wearing, store pearls in a velvet pouch or a sealed bag, laying them flat to prevent the cord from deforming due to hanging.
