Embracing the gentle translucence of organza and the harmonious interplay of colors when touched by light, this piece is woven with an abundance of air. My creative theme is fashion that harmonizes with nature. I wanted to create a bag that felt like holding hydrangeas themselves, so I've recreated the subtle hues of vintage hydrangeas. Please enjoy the hydrangeas as they transition through the autumn colors. Not too big, not too small, not too flashy, not too simple – it's perfectly medium in every aspect. Enjoy it as a hand-held basket, over the shoulder, or crossbody. A 120cm strap is included. All metal fittings are securely sewn in with the fabric strips. Craftsmanship with Care Over 10 meters of organza are used for each bag. The process begins with tearing the fabric into strips, one by one. From the basket, "sakiami" (blooming weave) flowers burst forth in a profusion of colors. This is why I named it "sakiami" (blooming weave) rather than "saki-ami" (tearing weave). A detachable shoulder strap is included. You can swing it around freely or carry it gently, as if cradling it. Although not pictured, an inner bag made of the same organza fabric is included. Made with Love The entire piece, including the sewing, is made from organza, making it incredibly lightweight and unobtrusive for outings. Because it's woven so tightly, it won't unravel or lose its volume even if it gets wet or is handled during your travels! It can also be hand-washed if it gets dirty. Organza is a thin, light, and crisp woven plain fabric with a stiff texture. It allows light to pass through, creating a uniquely soft atmosphere and an elegant translucence that evokes a sense of transparency, characterized by its distinctive sheen and resilience. After experimenting with various fabrics, chiko uses polyester organza for its superior strength and consistent quality.
