Apply hand wash detergent, baking soda, or a gentle laundry detergent to the stained area and soak for over three hours. The water level should be just above the fabric. (Avoid soaking in hot water, as it can set the stains.) 3. Once stains are removed, simply wash with detergent and hang to dry (in a ventilated area indoors or in the bathroom; occasional sun exposure can help sterilize). Ensure it is completely dry before storing. 4.
