The name "Gentian" (龍膽), as the name suggests, means bitter.
It grows in open areas above mid-high altitudes with ample sunlight, on scree slopes or forests.
It blooms from April to September. Gentians are very sensitive to sunlight;
their flowers close when clouds gather and the weather changes.
According to the specimen collection by Takiya Kawakami on July 10, 1933, the location was Zhushan in the Alishan Range.
However, it was actually collected on the path from Alishan to Yushan;
Gentians are not distributed in Alishan itself.
This is an original watercolor postcard.
The back is completely blank, allowing you to write plenty of words.
Just remember to leave space for the stamp and the recipient's address!
The paper is 240g ivory card,
which has a very smooth surface.
The colors are saturated and delicate, offering excellent texture,
making it suitable for writing and stamping.
The size is approximately 10.5*14.8 cm.
