| Frequently Asked Questions |
🏷 What are embroidered patches?
Embroidered patches are often called embroidered cloth stickers, cloth patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered emblems. However, most embroidered cloth patches require ironing to adhere, typically to fabric materials, or to cover holes in clothing.
Hi你好 (Hi Nice to Meet You) embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing, suitable for smooth, non-fabric surfaces. They are great as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more! Let's create something unique with these stickers!
🏷 How do I use embroidered patches?
Using Hi你好 embroidered patches is simple:
▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Simply peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they won't easily come off!
▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Use a pressing cloth to protect the embroidery thread from high heat. Iron back and forth for 20-25 seconds. Allow it to cool for a secure bond, then reinforce with needle and thread for extra durability. If you don't have an iron, sewing them on with a sewing machine or by hand will also create a strong attachment!
🏷 What if I can't iron or am unsure about ironing the fabric?
For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabric) or if you're unsure about ironing, we recommend sewing them on with a sewing machine or by hand for a secure fit. This prevents high temperatures from damaging your fabric!
🏷 How is the adhesion of the embroidered patches? Will they fall off easily?
Hi你好 embroidered patches have sufficient adhesive backing. They are not likely to fall off when applied to regular smooth, non-fabric surfaces. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), please iron and sew for reinforcement to increase durability!
🏷 Will the embroidered patches fall off after washing?
Once ironed and sewn for reinforcement, the embroidered patches can withstand washing machine cycles without easily falling off. We recommend washing them inside out in a laundry bag.
🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied?
The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. We advise confirming the desired placement before sticking. If you peel them off and wish to reuse them, the embroidered fabric surface can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration!
🏷 Will there be residue after removing the applied embroidered patches?
The strong adhesive on our embroidered patches may leave some residue upon removal. This residue can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive removers. Before cleaning, please check if your item's surface material is compatible with the cleaner to avoid damage!
Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue; the adhesive on embroidered patches melts with heat, making it stickier and harder to remove!
