ABOUT ITEM'S ORIGIN (You can SKIP it!) BIOMETAR 80mm is a normal focus multi-coated (MC) lens with springblend aperture designed for Pentacon-Six camera. It issued in DDR at Carl Zeiss Jena plant Pentacon. In the main, most all Germany lenses are exceptionally good and this one is no exception! Such lenses are popular as fine portrait lenses for modern dSLR cameras, just add well-spread adapter, and you'll have it! ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT++++++ The glass is very clean, with no scratches, separations or fungus. Aperture blades open and close smoothly (and jumps properly), focusing is a bit tight but acceptable. Cosmetically lens is in fine condition, just examine item's photos, please. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Focus 80mm. * Angle of view 50 degrees (for 6x6cm frame size). * Relative aperture 1:2.8 (up to 1:22). * Springblend aperture. * Special button for repeating springblend aperture. * Mounting: bayonet same with Pentacon-Six and Exacta-66 cameras ("B" type in Soviet/Russian terms). The lens will mount on Kiev-6S, Kiev-60 and latest Kiev-88CM cameras. * Mounting for modern 35mm type SLR & dSLR cameras will not bring any trouble with well-spread adapters. * Focusing from 1.0m. * Scale of distances engraved both in meters and feet. * Multi-coated (MC) surface of lenses provides better image quality than usual (non-MC) lenses. * Filter mount M 58x0.75mm.
