Honeymoon Phase - original oil painting

Honeymoon Phase Size: 50 x 50 cm 2023 You probably saw this one coming and have likely heard this term before — and it’s a very real thing. The beginning of a new relationship is exhilarating. You’re connecting with someone you find exciting and who finds you exciting. You’re eager to learn about them, can’t get enough of them, and have all of those passionate feelings that make dating so thrilling. There is so much anticipation, curiosity, nervousness, and wonder. It’s kind of blind at this stage! I wanted to show in abstract style for this painting. Started to paint in blue background however later modified to blue & pink, the idea is to show the passion during honeymoon period. I tried to show the feeling of ‘blind’ by putting a glass on the man and also a mask on the woman’s eyes.
