| Purchase Notes |
1. To minimize packaging waste, we reuse secondary shipping boxes or packaging materials, ensuring your item is securely delivered.
2. All ceramic materials used in our studio are lead-free and fired at temperatures above 1200°C, making them safe and non-toxic for your peace of mind.
3. Glazes naturally develop variations during firing, and phenomena such as crazing, crackling, glaze crawling, or minor pinholes are considered normal.
4. All pieces are photographed in natural light, and while we strive to calibrate and minimize discrepancies between photos and actual glaze colors, variations may occur due to different screen calibrations. The actual product color is the standard.
5. Each piece is handcrafted, so minor variations in size are expected. The color of the clay and glaze may differ due to kiln atmosphere and temperature fluctuations, which are part of the charm and character of handmade ceramics. Please review the product details carefully before purchasing if you are concerned about perfection.
| Care and Use Instructions |
1. It is not recommended to place pottery in electric steamers, microwaves, ovens, or over direct flame, and avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent cracking or damage. Only pieces made from sand (fire-resistant clay) can be used in these appliances.
2. If using ceramics as tableware, rinse and clean any surface dirt before the first use. Wash with a sponge or soft scouring pad and neutral dish soap. Avoid abrasive materials like steel wool, which can scratch the surface. Finally, wipe dry with a cloth and air dry in a ventilated area to prevent mildew.
3. Hot water and food can be safely used. The glazed surface will gradually develop fine cracks upon heating and cooling, which is a normal occurrence. Each mark of use will be absorbed by the pottery, and the color and texture will evolve with the warmth of your daily life.
4. Matte glazes tend to show tea stains and dark food marks more readily than glossy glazes. Crazed areas may also accumulate tea or coffee stains, serving as a record of use. These can be cleaned with baking soda, citric acid, or a magic eraser, and will not affect usability. To minimize residue, soak the item in water or wash it immediately after use.
5. If you have any questions or wish to know more details, please feel free to contact the designer via internal message or search for "日常陶皿" on FB and IG for assistance. We will respond as soon as possible.
