The Actias formosana, also known as the "Moon Goddess Moth," is a large species of silk moth native to Taiwan. The males have golden-yellow wings, while the females boast a beautiful blue-green hue. They primarily inhabit the low to mid-altitude mountainous regions of Taiwan. We chose to feature the female moth for its exquisite blue-green coloration. The wings are dusted with silver powder, creating a shimmering effect as the blue-green wings unfurl near your hair, catching the light with every movement. These accessories are handcrafted, incorporating elements from original hand-painted watercolors. The hairpin measures approximately 5.5 cm in length.
