The Eighth Eighth Windstorm was the beginning of the establishment of the Yangjiao Carpentry Workshop.
At that time, 1.5 million tons of wood were blown from the mountain forest and piled up on the shore. It contained many Taiwanese precious tree species, such as Taiwan Red Dragonfly, Taiwan Cypress, Wuxin Stone, Da Ye Nan, etc., in many scholars. With the assistance of the industry, government agencies and public welfare organizations, the Chalamami tribe in Duotai, Taitung, established the "Xiangyang Salary Technology School" to let the tribes learn the wood craft and build the dream of the tribal industry.
This group of "Recollecting Taiwan" commemorative building blocks is the first work of the masters. Using the skills of learning, carefully cut, lead and polish these precious woods, and get new wood from the roots. / Maintenance method /
Our products have been coated with pure natural beeswax oil as a protective layer. They are environmentally friendly and breathable, keeping the wood in a state of continuous breathing and achieving the basic daily water-repellent and anti-fouling effects. After long-term use, the amount of beeswax oil retained will be reduced. Therefore, it should be wiped regularly with beeswax oil or cooking oil to allow the wood to absorb grease to create a protective layer.
