Beara Beara bags are made from raw cowhide, which will have natural variations and textures, a hallmark of handmade leather goods. __Does the leather soften over time?__ Yes, the leather will soften and develop character after a few weeks of use. However, to maintain the bag's shape and longevity, we recommend not overloading it with heavy items. __Is the leather waterproof?__ Natural leather is not waterproof. However, both leather and suede can be protected with a waterproofing spray. Please use sparingly, as sprays may affect the leather's natural sheen. __Will the bag be damaged if it gets wet?__ Leather can withstand minimal exposure to moisture without damage.
