The round-leaved Stephania erecta is a caudex plant. With its round caudex and round leaves, it's incredibly soothing and charming. Grown locally for leaf development, it requires about 3-5 hours of sunlight. Both full sun and partial sun are suitable. Water when the soil's surface is nearly dry. The Stephania erecta's caudex is 3.5 cm in diameter, capable of creating a Zen-inspired ambiance. Its thin leaves are translucent green, with clear veins, offering high visual appeal and soothing qualities. In high temperatures, water only when the soil's surface is nearly dry. (Product does not include the display board or decorative elements.) Entering its growing season, it continues to produce leaves. It will bloom small, inconspicuous yellow flowers. Soil Medium | 400°C high-temperature sterilized Japanese Akadama soil (granular). Location | Balcony; place in a well-ventilated indoor space for 3-5 days before moving to the balcony. Sunlight | Approximately 3-4 hours of direct sunlight. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- It prefers a warm, humid environment and typically sheds its leaves to go dormant in mid to late December. When temperatures drop, move it indoors to protect it from the cold, which can delay dormancy. After dormancy, reduce sun exposure and water only once a week. Observe carefully between May and July for emerging leaf buds, then resume watering when the top two-thirds of the soil is dry.
