Natural Dye Large Wool Stole - Pagoda Tree Bud Yellow (Joy) - Knit Scarves & Wraps - Wool Yellow

Product Description

This botanical-dyed Kaya-ori wool long stole is hand-dyed to a vibrant yellow using the flower buds of the Japanese Pagoda Tree (Enju). While the photos might show a slight cool undertone, the actual product is a very warm, bright yellow. Being a natural botanical dye, the color has depth and is sophisticated rather than garish. In the cold of winter, I have dyed this to a shade that carries happiness and hope, gently warming the heart. This is a one-of-a-kind handcrafted piece. The Pagoda Tree bud, known as "Kaika" in traditional herbal medicine, is famous for its hemostatic, vascular-strengthening, and anti-inflammatory properties. You can see these magnificent trees at the Tokyo Metropolitan Medicinal Botanical Garden. The result is a powerful color that feels protective, much like the herbs it comes from. Size: Approx. 117cm width x 185cm length (including 5cm fringe on each end). Weight: 146g. While it is large enough to envelop your body, it is remarkably lightweight. Having been washed multiple times during production, it is fluffy and gentle without any wool-specific prickliness. It can be gently hand-washed at home. Kaya-ori wool features a cotton warp, but the parts that touch your skin are wrapped in soft wool. Its high absorbency ensures a fresh and comfortable feel across multiple seasons. This oversized stole can be used as a shawl replacement or a cozy lap blanket. Take this opportunity to enjoy a gift from nature—a pure and gentle natural color. ◇ We provide wrapping even for "Standard Shipping." ◇ Free gift wrapping is available. Please contact us via "Contact Designer." ◇ Products are finished with a steam iron before shipping. ◇ A tracking number will be provided once shipping is complete. ◇ If you have any questions, please feel free to message us before purchasing. *Sold on multiple platforms. In the event of duplicate orders, the earliest purchase time will be prioritized. Thank you for your understanding. ____________________ Width: Approx. 117cm Length: Approx. 185cm (including 5cm fringe) Weight: 146g Material: Domestic Kaya-ori Wool from Nara (Warp: Cotton, Weft: Wool) Dye: Pagoda Tree Flower Buds (Enju) ____________________ Origin / Method Japan / Handmade ◎ Dyed with 100% botanical natural dyes. ◎ Natural dyes may experience slight fading over time. ◎ Avoid washing machines, dryers, and bleach. ◎ Gentle hand washing alone is recommended for home care.
