Industar-22 is a normal angle (standard) coated lens issued at USSR since 1950th years for RF Leica copies, then for SLR Zenit cameras... very simple, compact and sharp... just one of Zeiss Tessar copies.
In the main, most all Soviet lenses are exceptionally good and this one is no exception!
ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT++++
The glass is clean, without scratches, separations or fungus, but very minor cleaning marks at optical elements or pieces of dust inside can be found. It will not really impact on image quality (see the note below, please).
Cosmetically the lens is in fine condition, just examine item's photos, please.
Aperture blades open and close smoothly, focusing is very smooth too.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
* Focus: 50 mm.
* Angle of view: 46 degrees.
* Relative aperture: 1:3.5
* Aperture: from 3.5 up to 16 (without clicks). The aperture scale rotates during focusing, and for best aperture control You'll see two similar aperture scales on it.
* Mounting: M39 x 1mm groove, it can be mounted to other SLR cameras made abroad in 50-60 years.
* Optical registration is 44.24mm It still 39 mm mount, but the optical registration is different from the Leica type (LTM) lenses for rangefinder cameras.
* Mounting for modern SLR & dSLR cameras will not bring any trouble with well-spread inexpensive M39/M42 adapters and special M42 adapter for your camera (two adapters together should be used).
* Filter mount: groove 33x0.5mm.
* Focusing: from 0.65m to "infinity".
* Weight (without case and lens caps) 75 gr.
* Diameter 50 mm.
* Length (focused at "infinity") 28 mm.
* Made at KMZ plant at Krasnogorsk town near the Moscow city (it has the special symbol).
* The lens was made in 1964, most of Russian Zenit cameras had M39 lens mount at this time.
* The lens have silver painting.
