Legend has it that the cat was originally meant to be the first animal of the zodiac, but the cunning rat usurped its position. This led to the eternal animosity between cats and mice. / Did you know Vietnam also has its own zodiac? The animal that takes the rabbit's place is the cat. One theory suggests that because the twelfth earthly branch, "Mǎo" (卯), corresponding to the rabbit, sounds similar to the word for cat in certain contexts, there's a "Year of the Cat." Every country has its own unique and charming cultural interpretations. : We didn't originally plan to create a calendar; products with expiration dates can be troublesome.
