Symmetric Tiger Stripe Pattern Ancient Bead
Classified under the West Asian bead category (Myanmar, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc.).
Complete item. Excavated artifact.
Collectors in mainland China have introduced these West Asian ancient beads on Xigua Video,
claiming they are over 2,000-3,000 years old!!!???
Features include shrinkage marks at the perforation, leathering, earth biting, and under UV light, one can observe ice cracks, black dye ion discoloration, and other signs of burial.
In 2019 AD, a batch of ancient beads was acquired from a dealer in the north for approximately NT$150,000.
This particular patterned bead style was priced at a minimum of NT$1,800 back then.
Over 10 years ago, similar Tibetan tiger stripe beads were handled, with market prices starting at least NT$1,000,000!
The West Asian bead series employs a completely different etching and coloring method compared to Tibetan heirloom Dzi beads.
The texture of heirloom pieces and buried items differs significantly,
and their price points are worlds apart... the disparity is quite astonishing.
