A distinctive flower vase meticulously created using hand-blown glass techniques.
The piece features a three-layer structure: a semi-transparent white interior, a vibrant yellow-green middle layer, and a clear glass outer coating. The yellow-green layer is first blown into a cup shape and cooled to allow for hand-etched sandblasted patterns. It is then reheated and encased in a final layer of clear glass. This method causes the patterns to cast shadows onto the inner white layer, creating a mesmerizing "floating" visual effect within the glass.
The patterns are not machine-printed; each is hand-drawn or hand-cut using masking tape by the artisan. This results in organic lines and soft edges, giving each vase a gentle and unique character.
The rim is designed with a subtle, ruffle-like "collar" effect. The elongated jar shape, combined with the substantial thickness and weight of the glass, ensures exceptional stability—perfect for tall arrangements or heavy woody branches.
The semi-transparent white interior allows you to see the water level through the glass. In the fifth photo, we have styled the vase with two branches of white plum blossoms.
*Not heat-resistant glass.
