The bag is constructed from a single piece of fabric, folded and sewn to create multiple internal compartments, preserving the original selvedge edge. It features a total of 7 storage openings: one main compartment and six hidden pockets. It can be carried by hand or over the shoulder, includes a reflective fabric tag, and is designed for double-sided use. This is all enhanced with persimmon dyeing. Persimmon Dyeing A traditional natural dyeing technique involving two stages. In the first stage, the fabric is directly immersed in the dye. I use a brush-dyeing method, first outlining the desired pattern and then coloring it stroke by stroke. The second stage involves sun-drying. The longer the fabric is exposed to sunlight, the deeper the color becomes. For each color, I typically sun-dry for three days. The first and second stages are repeated multiple times to achieve the desired effect. Finally, a mordant can be applied to add further depth and complexity to the color. Considering each layer of color on each side, the average time to complete one bag is 12 days (excluding rainy days). Materials: 100% Cotton. Hand wash and machine wash are possible. Do not bleach.
