The Kieninger facory has a long history dating back to its founding by Joseph Kieninger in June 1912, in Mönchweiler.
This piece, made of wood coated with reflective laquer, brass and glass, was made pre-1970s and it is in fairly good condition with signs of aging, such as some stains on the dial that are consistent with its age. One side has a small dent as well as a scratch in the laquer. The photographs are a part of the description. This piece is a non-pendulum one with a floating balance that chimes on the half hour and the hour, and keeps good time.
