Building upon the fundamental L-shaped bookend structure, this design creates a more robust form, evolving into a dual-purpose holder capable of storing both books and letters. Inspired by origami, flat metal plates are folded into three-dimensional forms. This design enhances a basic L-shaped bookend to create a stable, dual-purpose piece for holding books and letters. The bookend is versatile. Used alone, it resembles a small sculpture. When grouped with others, they overlap, adding visual interest and improving storage. The "MM Dual-Purpose Bookend & Letter Holder" can be adjusted to various angles depending on the items placed, or overlapped side-by-side, expanding storage possibilities. The overall form emphasizes semicircular lines, contributing to a visually soft and comfortable aesthetic. Semicircular chamfers are also used at the folded corners on the sides and bottom, seamlessly integrating with the overall design. The "Silver Mist" series features a delicate and rich matte texture.
